About the Company:
Business strategists, the Indiana Strategic Resource Group specializes in individual and corporate Business Communications, developing and managing comprehensive corporate and project-based Supplier Diversity programs, and developing small business training programs.
We provide our clients with strategic and creative processes that include measurable outcomes.
The ISRG develops comprehensive programs to support public and private organizations in their endeavors to promote climates of inclusion, organizational integration, political and civic engagement, as well as advocacy for small businesses.
We have airport, utility, municipal, construction, university, legal and nonprofit experience. The company was started in 2005 by Aleta Mungal. The ISRG is a certified minority and woman-owned business.
About the Owner:
Aleta Mungal is the founder and president of the Indiana Strategic Resource Group. Aleta manages operations and strategy, as well as sales and marketing.
She has extensive experience in leading the development and implementations of large scale business processes and programs, and has demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating across boundaries – gender, race, nationality and politically.
An innovative thinker and strategist, she utilizes strong project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion in complex, deadline driven environments.
Her experience spans a range of business industries: airports, municipalities, utilities, education, and general construction. She has proven success in the business functional areas of Business Communications, Supplier Diversity, and Strategic Planning.
Aleta served as Diversity Outreach Provider to the Indianapolis Airport Authority, where she successfully implemented her strategic plan and increased vendor utilization on the $1.1 billion new airport project by 60%.
Additionally, Aleta wrote and helped implement the strategic plan for Citizens Energy Group’s Supplier Diversity system and program, including process, outreach and auditing. Under her guidance, strategic vendor outsourcing, business process improvement, communications, and program management were successfully implemented.
She is an advocate of women, minorities, and the underrepresented, and is a trusted advisor to local and regional businesses. Professionally, she consistently develops comprehensive understandings of client needs and effectively manages relationships. Aleta works to expand alliance partnerships, customer bases, and build community ties.
Currently, Aleta serves as a Board Member for CICOA and Mental Health America, and is a past Board Member of Young Audiences of Indiana, the Damien Center, ACE Mentor Program, ASHA for Education, and the Asian American Alliance of Indiana. Aleta also sits on diversity committees for the United Way and for Veolia Water.
Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, Aleta received her Bachelor’s of Art in Communication from San Diego State University. She has lived in Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; and East Lansing, MI and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
